Show Checklist Progress with a Progress Bar
Note: The Checklist progress field is available to supporters only. If you're on the free plan, you'll need to upgrade.
You can use Amazing Fields to display checklist progress directly on Trello cards with a progress bar.
As checklist items are completed, the progress bar automatically updates to show the percentage of completed tasks. This makes it easy to quickly see progress without opening the card.

Create a checklist progress bar
The easiest way to do this is by creating a field that automatically calculates checklist completion. To create one:
- Open Amazing Fields Settings by clicking the Amazing Fields icon in the top-right corner of the board.
- Click "Add" to create a field
- Select "Progress Checklist" under "Example Fields."
The field will:
- Calculate the percentage of completed checklist items
- Display the value as a 0–100% progress bar
- Update automatically as tasks are checked off
Track progress for a specific checklist
If your cards contain multiple checklists, you can configure the field to track progress for a specific one. In the field settings, enter the checklist name in Checklist Search. The progress bar will then only track items from checklists that match that name.
You can also add multiple checklist progress fields and configure each one to match different checklists. This allows you to create a wide variety of combinations for tracking and displaying progress across your cards.

Tip: You can customize the progress bar style to create different visual representations of progress.
