I Can See Amazing Fields Values But Can’t Edit Them

If you can view field values on a Trello card but the fields are read-only and cannot be edited, the most likely cause is that you are not a full member of the board. This can happen when you have access to a board through workspace membership, but have not been individually added as a board member.

How to identify the issue

Look at the top of the Trello board. If your user icon appears in the top-right corner but is not shown in the group of icons representing board members, you are viewing the board as a workspace observer, not as a full board member.

How to fix it

You have two options to gain edit access:

• Click "Join Board."
• Ask the board owner to add you as a full member with editor rights.
